Male Greater Fugamus tend to fight dirty. It might be hard to see at this point but the male furthest from us has got some nasty wounds on his face from this scrap. This is one of many images I plan to have done for an upcoming solo show in November. I’ll be posting details as it gets closer.

Speaking of which, A.P.E. is getting closer and I’ve begun work on the prints and books I’ll be selling at my table. This year I’ve invested in a better printer so the prints are top-notch! I’m really excited about them. I’m releasing two prints early – from The Morae River. You can read more details about that on The Morae River.com

As you might know I will have “Fish Hooks” on sale as well. It is a book I put together, containing sketches, illustrations and scribbles. I will also have a prints available of a few other pieces from this log as well as Brynnart.com If you’re in the Bay Area or will be during the 16th and 17th, you should come out and see some art, comics and books! A.P.E. is an awesome convention and I’m very excited to be a part of it this year. Come stop by my table (#216) and say hello!

I was recently asked to be in a show about animal art – work inspired by the other beings that share our planet. I will have three pieces on display from The Morae River, including a new species. This is going to be a really great show full of awesome work by some really talented artists. The opening is October 1st at 6 PM and will be up until the 30th. Anyway, if you’re in the area, you should come out, see some art and taste some wine! Hope to see you there!

Surviving…

Things have been busy lately, leaving me little time to produce any work for myself. I have  a few projects happening, all of which are unmentionable right now. I was recently asked by the crew over at Science…Sort of to design a shirt for their 52nd episode – their one year anniversary. The shirt features Peaches the Brachiolope, their mascot, in some party gear. Science…Sort Of interviewed me a while back about my project, The Morae River. Anyway, check out the show – it’s really interesting, awesome and hilarious. If you like science, beer, and all things geeky then it’s definitely the show for you!

You can see and buy the shirts –> Here.

I’ll be posting more personal work later.Aactually some sketches for The Morae River. The project has been suffering from neglect. It’s a matter of time and not having it lately. I’m adjusting to a new job and so things are sort of on hold.

This was a sketch I did for a recent Creature Planets. It’s still rough and I probably won’t go with it but I thought I’d post it anyway…
